#HCR4RANA with Jean-Paul Judson

Meet HCR Runner Jean-Paul Judson. France.

A funny anecdote:

I was once at a fancy dress party and noticed that someone had a really crazy wig on. I went up to him and touched his wig and said: “that’s a really crazy wig you have there”. He looked at me and said: “no, that’s my hair”.

My favourite expression:

“It’s not too bad” – meaning “it’s absolutely fantastic”. I cannot emphasise enough how much I love understatements.

My favourite athlete:

Not an athlete as such but a very important sports figure in my life: Guy Roux. He took over a small football team – AJ Auxerre – and turned it into a world renowned youth academy, producing top footballers such as Eric Cantona, Basile Boli, Christophe Cocard, Philippe Mexes and Djibril Cissé (amongst others). He also reached a Champions League quarter-final in 1997 and a dramatic UEFA Cup semi-final in 1993, which he both lost to Borussia Dortmund…

My objective for this Brussels 20km:

That my nipples don’t hurt afterwards.
